FAIRFIELD WOMEN'S CLUB GARDEN DEPARTMENT
The Fairfield Women's Club Garden Department will have a bus tour Thursday.
Those on the tour should meet at the McElhinny House to depart by bus at 8:45 a.m.
The tour will include greenhouses in the New London and Mediapolis areas, followed by lunch in Mediapolis.
Reservations should be made by Tuesday morning with Donna Clark at 472-4248.

JEFFERSON COUNTY RETIRED SCHOOL PERSONNEL
The Jefferson County Retired School Personel met Wednesday for a noon luncheon, with 20 members present.
The program was given by Nohema Graber. She is a student at Fairfield High School and spent a year in France as a foreign exchange student. She gave a program on her experiences attending school in France.
The meeting was conducted by co-president Don Kremer. Jeanne Erickson?s secretary report and Dwain Dooley?s rreasury report were both approved.
The next meeting will be May 22, with a noon luncheon at the McElhinny House. A program about the Maasdam Barns will be given by Larry Nash. Hostesses will be Linda Zelinski, Marcia Koch and Rosalle Thompson.
