Faith Baptist Church to host seminar on grief

Faith Baptist Church in Washington will host a program called GriefShare on Nov. 14 and Dec. 6.

The program is advertised as a helpful, encouraging seminar for people facing the holiday after a loved one's death. The seminar lasts two hours, and starts at 10 a.m. on Nov. 14 and at 4 p.m. on Dec. 6. There is a cost to attend.

The seminar features practical suggestions and reassurance through video interviews with counselors, grief experts and other people who have experienced the holidays after their loved one's death. Topics to be discussed include dealing with hard-hitting emotions, what to do about traditions, how to survive social events, and where to find comfort and strength.
