Washington County 4-H is already gearing up for project workshops this fall. September 17 they are hosting a Fall Fashion 101 Workshop open to all 4-Hers and friends who want to learn more about ramping up their wardrobe for fall.
Come learn a few tips on buying versatile items best for your body, style and closet and then go put those to use at the downtown Washington shops. They will focus on how to turn a few key wardrobe pieces into many great looks for fall. They will also visit with Jaz It Up! Boutique owner Aimee Enfield about her start in design and fashion.
Participants will be encouraged to find great additions to their fall wardrobe during the one hour shopping time of the workshop. Participants will join up again at the end to showcase new purchases at the Tabletop Runway Show. Parents of young members are encouraged to stay and assist with the shopping time off sit during the workshop.
Participants will be given coupons to use on Sept. 17 as well for participating downtown businesses. You do not have to be in 4-H to participate ? ask a friend to join you! Open to fourth-graders and above. RSVP is not required but encouraged.
For more information on the Fall Fashion 101 workshop or the 4-H clothing project area as a 4-H member or volunteer, contact Amy at the Washington County Extension Office at 319-653-4811.
