On Oct. 27, Kelli Symmonds, of Kalona, hosted a birthday supper for her husband, Nolan, and their son Cameron at their home. They were joined by his parents, Virgil and Jane Symmonds, of Fairfield, and Janes' mother, Winifred Fritz, of Brighton.
Providing the evening meal of Oct. 28 at the home of Winifred Fritz were her children, Tony and Lynn Fritz, of Brighton, and Joel and Mary Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth, of Fairfield.
Jason Roberts joined his friends, Josh and Tammy, of Crawfordsville, at Pizza Ranch in Washington on Oct. 29. They celebrated Tammy's birthday.
Pat Remington met her daughter Angela and Tony Garmoe with James, of Mt. Pleasant, on Oct. 31. They went to Burlington. On the return trip they stopped in Mt. Pleasant to get Christopher, their son. They all went to the casino in Riverside for the evening meal.
Approximately 15 friends enjoyed coffee, tea and rolls at the home of Gerald and Rosemary Pacha on Oct. 30. Winifred Fritz was one of the guests.
Carol Robison visited Winifred Fritz on the afternoon of Oct. 30.
Ryan and Roberta Sieren, of Keota, visited her father, Bob Shelangoski, on Oct. 28.
David Smith with son Corey, of Clearbrook, Minnesota, visited his mother, Caryl Smith, Oct. 25-27.
Pat Remington with friend Nita, of Rubio, traveled to Ottumwa on Oct. 30. They met Pat's sister Kathy and friend Wayne, of Chariton, at Sirloin Stockade. They were joined by their sister-in-law, Jenny Babberl, of Ottumwa.
Bill and Roseanne Rider, of Manhattan, Montana, visited her brother, Dan Callahan, Oct. 24-26.
Shirley Schooley spent the weekend of Oct. 27 in Columbia, Missouri. She visited her son Mike and Cindi. Their son, Grant, of Ireland, was also there.
