Festival of Trees to be held

The Washington County and Henry County Relay for Life organization are hosting a "Festival of Trees" Thursday, Nov. 17, and Friday, Nov. 18, from 5 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Ainsworth Opera House.

Various relay teams have decorated holiday trees or wreaths and put them on display at the Ainsworth Opera House for the public to come and look, bid and possibly take that tree or wreath home on Saturday. Some trees and wreaths have themes and some are decorated for the season.

The funds raised by this bid process will be awarded to the team who donated the tree/wreath and put toward their team total of funds raised for their 2017 relay.

There is an entrance fee to view the trees and wreaths. There will be light refreshments served for a free-will donation.
