The Fairfield Senior Citizen Center will host its monthly Senior Night Out event Thursday evening.
According to site manager Luann Celotti, the event will include entertainment by Fiddlin? Granny and The Jammers, bingo and snacks, plus a meal of Sloppy Joes, tortilla chips with cheese sauce, carrots and celery sticks, fresh fruit salad and chocolate bars.
Appetizers will be available for guests at 5 p.m., and the meal will be served at 5:30 p.m.
Reservations are not necessary but would be appreciated so the center cooks know how much food to prepare for the evening. Reservations can be made by calling 472-4403. The cost is a donation from senior citizens age 60 or older and $5.87 from those younger than 60.
No regular noon meal will be served at the center or delivered to homes Thursday, but the seniors have been told and can make plans accordingly.
