Fifth-graders perform in honor choir
Eight Lincoln Elementary fifth-graders recently participated in the Southeast Iowa Choral Directors Association (SEICDA) honor choir at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant. The students prepared music ahead of time, then spent the day rehearsing with guest conductor Deborah Hatteberg from Burlington. Eight Lincoln Elementary fifth-graders recently participated in the Southeast Iowa Choral Directors Association (SEICDA) honor choir at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant. The students prepared music ahead of time, then spent the day rehearsing with guest conductor Deborah Hatteberg from Burlington. Along with a middle school honor choir, the elementary choir presented a concert that evening to friends and family . Pictured are: Jenny Lisauskas, Raven Carnes, Keaton Murphy, Alec Schiefer, Hunter Rarick, Millie Craig, Destinee Macias and Cloe Telleen. These students are all members of the Sunrise Singers directed by Julie Hill.
