?Fight Cancer with Kim? event Saturday

A fund-raising event to benefit Kim Williams is planned 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.

Williams was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. Funds raised during ?Fight Cancer with Kim? will help take some of the burden of medical bills, travel expense, and treatment costs from her and her family.

The Fight Cancer with Kim event will include a chili lunch, with serving starting at 10:30 a.m., local business shopping and a silent auction.

Orders for T-shirts also are being taken to raise funds for Williams.

T-shirts, with the words ?Not going down without a fight ? cure lung cancer? and a cancer ribbon in the design on the front of the shirt are available for order for $20 in adult and youth sizes. For ordering information, call Kiews or Kandi Williams.
