First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is collecting new back-to-school supplies throughout August for distribution at Jefferson County Resource Center through Southern Iowa Economic Development Association Community Action.
Suggested items include: new backpacks, Prang or Crayola paints, colored pencils, markers, wide-lined spiral notebooks, wide-lined notebook paper, crayons, No. 2 lead pencils, black or blue ink pens, red ink pens or red pencils, plastic school boxes, paper folders, glue sticks, rulers, erasers and scissors.
A collection box is provided at the church.
