Flag raising, Eagle Scout rank presentation planned

BENTONSPORT ? Boy Scout Troop 33 of Donnellson is planning to conduct a flag raising and Eagle Scout rank presentation ceremony at 1 p.m. Dec. 31 in Bentonsport.
The scouts will be honoring Eagle Scout recipient Chris Bennett Jr., as well as recognizing his Eagle Scout flag and landscape installation project. During the summer and fall, Bennett organized, raised funds for and installed a 25-foot flagpole, landscaping and stone pathway in downtown Bentonsport in the open lawn near the gazebo.
The public is invited.
