Fletcher family holds reunion

Robin Fletcher and Mike Rolling hosted the Cleo and Arlene Fletcher family on Friday, August 11.

Those attending were Larry and Donna Fletcher of Crawfordsville and their family, Steve and Pam Green of Washington and Brad and Carol Fletcher of Cedar Falls; Kathy and Mick Garris of Winfield and their family, Troy Garris and Rod Salaysay of MN.; Jennifer and Charlie Dill and their family, Aliyah and friend, Andrew;,Garrison, Halle and Sienna and Erik and Bekah Garris and their family, Clinton and Calvin, all of Webster Groves, IL.; Cory Mellies of Ames and family, Lily, Oliver and Claire. Corey's wife, Amy, was on a church mission trip and was unable to be with them and Kaleb and Linsey Zimmerman of Cedar Falls and family, Henry, John, Kate and Sam.

A special cake was served for dessert celebrating the three members who had celebrated their 80th birthdays this year, Larry and Donna Fletcher and Mick Garris.

INGATHERING

The United Church of Crawfordsville is collecting student and personal dignity kits to send to Midwest Mission in Pawnee, IL. The Mission Ingathering through the United Methodist Church continues its partnership with the Midwest Mission Distribution Center. The Midwest Mission regularly ships three to four containers of humanitarian relief each month, both domestically and internationally.

On Saturday, November 4 the kits will be taken to the First Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant where they will be loaded into trucks.
