Fleur de Lis

Bev Krotz was hostess to Fleur de Lis Club members and eight guests on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, at 1:30 p.m at Central Park Community Center.

Guest Ann Tweeton is an Energy Medicine Practitioner who is certified as a Healing Touch practitioner, Reiki Master, Re-connective Healing, Clinical Aromatherapy and Raindrop and Vita Flex Therapy. She finished a one-year apprenticeship this past July. Energy medicine helps the body relax, causing the release of endorphins with overall self-healing of the mind, body and spirit. Stress and Grief drain much energy from our bodies and when we have pain, our energy field collaspes. She stressed there is a difference between healing and curing. It was a most informative and interesting program and she works out of her home for appointments.

Following the program, the hostess served a variety of delicious homemade pies.

Nancy Kimmel, president, then conducted a short business meeting. Roll call was answered with members telling of where they had seen the most colorful Fall Trees. Minutes of the last meeting were read by Secretary-Treasurer, Linda Birney as well as giving the Treasurer?s Report. A card will be sent to former member, Phyllis Litwiller, following her hospitalization.

The next meeting will be Nov. 20, at 1:30 p.m. with Pat Stout as hostess. Please bring money to be collected for the club's Christmas donation and an attic treasure to the November meeting.
