Fleur de Lis Club
Fleur-de-Lis Club members met at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Carson Plumbing where the Re-Purpose It Shop is located. Shop owner Leslie Allender explained the Re-Purpose consignment shop offers home décor, accents, antiques and more. Many of the items brought back memories of years past. She is planning workshops to be held later in the year using chalkboard paints.

Fleur-de-Lis Club members met at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Carson Plumbing where the Re-Purpose It Shop is located. Shop owner Leslie Allender explained the Re-Purpose consignment shop offers home décor, accents, antiques and more. Many of the items brought back memories of years past. She is planning workshops to be held later in the year using chalkboard paints.
Members then went to the Frontier Family Restaurant where hostess, Bev Crandall treated members to dessert. She gave each a coffee mug filled with candy as her re-purpose item. Nancy Kimmel then conducted a short business meeting. Roll call was answered with members giving an item they would like to re-purpose. The secretary read the minutes of the last meeting which was December, as the club did not meet during January and February. Thank-yous were read from HACAP and the Marie Hora family for their donations. The treasurer?s report was given and a bill presented and paid. After discussion, Election of Officers for the coming year were retained from the previous year with the exception of the vice president. Officers for the coming year are: President, Nancy Kimmel; Vice President, Bev Krotz; Secretary-Treasurer, Linda Birney; and Remembrance Committee, Theresa Hora and Pat Stout. Members then signed up for hostess months for the coming year.
The next meeting will be April 23, at 9 a.m. at the home of Linda Birney. Dues will be payable at this time.
