Fleur-de-Lis Club May meeting minutes

Bev Crandall was hostess for the May 23, 2019, Fleur-de-Lis Club meeting. Members met for a morning coffee at 9:30 a.m. at Café Dodoci Shop & Coffee House on the Washington square. Bev treated the group to morning refreshments and everyone enjoyed a relaxing time of catching up with family and community activities. The weather was one of the main topics.

Nancy Kimmel, president, conducted a short business meeting. Roll call was answered with each telling of a new product they had seen or tried, be it a food product or cleaning product. The secretary and treasurer reports were read by Linda Birney, Sec./Treas. Vice President Bev Krotz handed out new program books for 2019-2020 which had been prepared by the secretary. Dues were collected from those not at last month's meeting.

Following the meeting, Bev Krotz shared and passed around some old club programs she had come across. She also read 'Getting Old” and Bev Crandall had a 'Senior Citizen” reading, which most could relate too in addition to having the group do a sitting and eye exercise. Pat Stout reviewed the movie, Breatkthrough, which had been at our local movie theater.

After more visiting, members departed for the morning.

The next meeting will be June 27, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. with Bev Krotz as hostess.
