Flu shot clinics this month in Henry County

Henry County Public Health will be holding their annual flu shot clinics this month and encourages all residents to arm themselves against the flu.

The cost of the vaccine is payable by cash or check. There is no cost for Medicare recipients if they bring their Part B card. Flu shot clinics will be held at the Salem Community Center on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 11 a.m. to noon, Winfield Community Center on Wednesday, Oct. 4 from 10 to 11:30 a.m., The Fellowship Cup in Mt. Pleasant on Thursday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to noon, and Wayland Community Center on Tuesday, Oct. 10 from 10 to 11 a.m.

Flu vaccine is also available at regular immunization clinics held every Wednesday and Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. and the first Thursday of every month from 1 to 6 p.m. For more information call 319-385-6724.
