Fly Van Buren Saturday in Keosauqua
KEOSAUQUA ? The 12th annual Fly Van Buren is set for Saturday.
The fly-in breakfast will be 7-10 a.m. at Keosauqua Municipal Airport. Keosauqua Lions Club will be serving an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast. The cost is $7; all pilots are invited for a free breakfast.
Breakfast will be served rain or shine, all other activities are dependent on weather.

KEOSAUQUA ? The 12th annual Fly Van Buren is set for Saturday.
The fly-in breakfast will be 7-10 a.m. at Keosauqua Municipal Airport. Keosauqua Lions Club will be serving an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast. The cost is $7; all pilots are invited for a free breakfast.

Ottumwa Radio-Control Flyers will demonstrate their flying skills with remote-control airplanes, which are approximately one-fourth scale of the full-size aircraft.
Six people will get a free airplane ride as they attempt to drop water balloons closest to a target on the ground. The closest to the bull?s-eye will win prizes.
Two people also will win a gift certificate good for a 30-minute plane ride with a licensed pilot. The certificate can be redeemed on a later day/time of the winner?s choosing.
A paper airplane contest for kids and adults will begin at 8 a.m. Bring one or make one on site. Prizes will be awarded in all age groups.
Indian Hills Community College?s aviation department will be on site to answer questions about careers in aviation. The Air Evac Helicopter will be on display.
No admission fee is charged. Bring lawn chairs.
