FMS, Elks honor ?Students of the Month? for December
Each school month, the Fairfield Elks Lodge sponsors the Fairfield Middle School Students of the Month award to acknowledge positive contributions of students at school, such as assisting teachers and peers to displaying characteristics as a role model.
The Students of the Month certificates are awarded after a nomination and voting process is completed by each grade-level teaching team.

The Students of the Month certificates are awarded after a nomination and voting process is completed by each grade-level teaching team.
Mallory Lyon has been selected as a December Student of the Month for fifth grade. Her certificate states, ?Mallory is a conscientious student. She ALWAYS puts forth her best effort in everything she does. She is willing to go above and beyond to produce high quality work. Mallory is a good example of a student with Trojan PRIDE. She has great integrity, always thinking about doing the right thing.?
Connor Lyons has been chosen to receive a fifth-grade Student of the Month Award for December. His certificate states, ?He is a constant role model of Trojan PRIDE both in and out of the classroom. Always prepared, Connor jumps at the opportunity to do more in the classroom. His eagerness to learn and his bright smile are a real pleasure.?
Jeremy Crile is a sixth-grade Student of the Month for December. His certificate states, ?Jeremy is a hard worker and a leader in the classroom. He is always willing to help others. He is very involved in extra-curricular activities, but never lets them get into the way of his schoolwork.?
Amiritha Kumar has been chosen as a sixth-grade December Student of the Month. Her certificate states, ?Amiritha?s display of Trojan PRIDE is truly evident and appreciated each and every day. Amiritha loves to learn and improve herself. She doesn?t quit until the job is done to the best of her ability. She has a sunny, positive attitude that is contagious! Her teachers and classmates have clearly observed her focus, hard work, honesty, and willingness to work with others in and out of the classroom.?
Callie Ledger has been selected as a seventh grade Student of the Month for December. Her certificate states, ?Callie is a very dependable student, consistently participating in class. She works hard in and out of school. She focuses well on figuring things out, and doesn?t give up until the job is done to the best of her ability. Callie is also willing to take risks, which is a great quality to possess.?

The eighth-grade team recognized Nickel Iseman as a December Student of the Month. His certificate states, ?Nickel is an outstanding student, who is excelling as he puts more time and effort into the quality of his work. He has also had an improved, more positive attitude in the classroom. Nickel is capable of great things and with this new outlook he is well on his way to a bright and successful future.?
The eighth-grade team also recognized Katelyn Claman as a December Student of the Month. Her certificate states she ?has a positive attitude towards learning and she is always willing to work with and help other students.
