Fairfield Middle School and Fairfield Elks Lodge have announced the Students of the Month for December.
Each school month, the Fairfield Elks Lodge sponsors the middle school?s Students of the Month award. The purpose of the award is to acknowledge positive contributions of FMS students at school. These positive contributions range from assisting teachers and peers in classroom activities to displaying characteristics as a role model in and out of the classroom.
The Students of the Month certificates are awarded after a nomination and voting process is completed by each grade-level teaching team.
Aspen Carlson was chosen to be a fifth-grade Student of the Month for December. Her certificate states, ?Aspen is always on task during class and is a great role model in our classroom. She always does her best work, displays excellent effort, and is willing to participate in class discussions. She is consistently showing Trojan PRIDE in and out of the classroom. She shows respect toward her peers and teachers and is always doing the right thing.?
Caden Allison was selected as a fifth-grade Student of the Month for December. His certificate states, ?Caden is kind and thoughtful to others. He helps out just to help out, expecting nothing in return. He has great Trojan PRIDE! He is honest and trustworthy, and I can count on him to always do the right thing. He is an excellent leader, in and out of the classroom.?
Dillon Post was selected as a sixth-grade Student of the Month for December. His certificate states, ?Dillon works well with others, and has a positive attitude towards learning. He is a hard worker who strives to do his best at all times. Dillon consistently chooses to do the right thing and is a great example of Trojan PRIDE through his words and actions.?
Macy Rayburn was selected as a sixth-grade Student of the Month for December. Her certificate states, ?She displays Trojan PRIDE on a daily basis. Macy displays a great work ethic, attitude, and sense of humor. Macy consistently strives to do her absolute best, and that is greatly appreciated.?
Jordan Pohren was selected as a seventh-grade Student of the Month for December. His certificate states, ?Jordan is a compassionate and respectful young man. He is friendly and kind to all. He has been working very hard this year and he never gives up. He asks for help when he needs it and really works to understand what?s going on.?
Grace Sobaski was chosen as a seventh-grade Student of the Month for December. Her certificate states, ?Grace never backs down from a challenge. She is constantly trying to do better and learn from her mistakes. She always puts forth a great effort, has a positive attitude, and always has a smile on her face.?
Nellie Higdon was selected as an eighth-grade Student of the Month for December. Her certificate states she was selected ? for her hard work and positive attitude in the classroom. She is a quiet leader who is dependable and can always be trusted to do the right thing. She exemplifies what it means to be a TROJAN and is willing to go above and beyond what is expected.?
Jonathan Estle also was selected as an eighth-grade Student of the Month for December. His certificate states, ?A hard worker with a great attitude, Jonathan has earned the respect of teachers and students alike. Always friendly and quick with a smile, Jonathan exemplifies what is meant by Trojan PRIDE.Jonathan is a self-motivated student who is involved in extra-curricular activities, and is always willing to help others.?
