FMS honors Students of Month

Each school month, the Fairfield Elks Lodge sponsors the Fairfield Middle School 'Students of the Month” award. The purpose of this award is to acknowledge positive contributions of FMS students at school. These positive contributions range from assisting teachers and peers in classroom activities to displaying characteristics as a role model in and out of the classroom. The ‘Students of the Month' certificates are awarded after a nomination and voting process is completed by each grade level teaching team.
Tomas Luxus has been chosen to be the March Student of the Month. Tomas comes to school every single day with a smile. He works so hard to learn as much as he can. He has one of the most positive attitudes at all times. His growth in learning English has amazed me this year. He is on his way to achieving great things. Congratulations, Tomas!
Tomás Luxus ha sido elegido para ser el estudiante de marzo del mes. Tomas viene a la escuela todos los días con una sonrisa. Él trabaja tan duro para aprender tanto como pueda. Tiene una de las actitudes más positivas en todo momento. Su crecimiento en el aprendizaje del inglés me ha sorprendido este año. Está en camino de lograr grandes cosas. ¡ Felicidades, Tomás!
Lauren Martin has been selected as the March Student of the Month. Lauren has been doing a great job of putting good effort into everything she does. She takes the extra time to write thorough explanations on all of her assignments. She takes pride in her work and in doing things the right way. She works well with others, and she can be counted on to be a strong group leader. Congratulations, Lauren! Keep up the good work!
The 6th grade team is proud to announce that Riley Bard has been chosen as the Student of the Month for March. Riley has made fantastic gains in his classes. He has been working hard and his teachers appreciate it. His sense of humor makes him fun to be around. Keep up the great work, Riley!
The 6th grade team would like to congratulate Jolie Crile on being selected by her teachers as the March Student of the Month. Jolie displays a great work ethic and attitude, striving to do her best at all times. Jolie is a great leader in the classroom and is willing to help her classmates as well as any adult that needs help. Keep up the good work and congratulations, Jolie!
The 7th grade team would like to congratulate Alea Hunter on being the March 2019 Student of the Month recipient. Alea demonstrates Trojan PRIDE in the classroom daily and is a student that her teachers can depend on to be prepared every day, both with needed materials and a positive, ready to learn attitude. She always treats others in the class with respect and works well in any group that she is a part of. In addition to being prepared and respectful, Alea has been responsible with her work, using her time wisely, asking questions when necessary, and turning in quality work. Keep up the hard work, Alea!
The 7th grade team would like to congratulate Alma White on being the March 2019 Student of the Month recipient. Alma exhibits leadership by prioritizing schoolwork and her extracurricular activities. She also is an enthusiastic learner; asking questions and making new points to build on the ideas of others. Alma is also very positive and helps set the tone for the class. In all, we appreciate the contributions that you bring to the culture of FMS!
Chloe Bowman has been selected as 8th grade Student of the Month for March. Consistently Chloe comes to class prepared to learn with assignments completed and well done. Her attitude is positive, and her demeanor shows her to be eager to learn. We are proud of the growth Chloe has shown this year and encourage her to keep this momentum going as she heads to the high school. Congratulations, Chloe!
Cian Bonnett is a great representation of Trojan PRIDE. He is always respectful, prepared, dependable, environmentally friendly, and constantly exhibits integrity. The 8th grade team selected Cian for the recipient of this award because we have seen awesome growth, and we are proud of him! He has been taking more of an initiative to advocate for himself and has been challenging himself. Way to go Cian, we hope you continue on this path and have a successful future!
