FMS honors Students of the Month
Each school month, the Fairfield Elks Lodge sponsors the Fairfield Middle School Students of the Month award.
The purpose of the award is to acknowledge positive contributions of FMS students at school. These positive contributions range from assisting teachers and peers in classroom activities to displaying characteristics as a role model in and out of the classroom. Each school month, the Fairfield Elks Lodge sponsors the Fairfield Middle School Students of the Month award.
The purpose of the award is to acknowledge positive contributions of FMS students at school. These positive contributions range from assisting teachers and peers in classroom activities to displaying characteristics as a role model in and out of the classroom. The Students of the Month certificates are awarded after a nomination and voting process is completed by each grade level teaching team.
Michael Holt has been selected as a fifth grade Student of the Month. According to his certificate, Holt gives 100 percent on his work. He goes above and beyond in all he does. He is a great teacher to his peers, and consistently displays his Trojan Pride.
Mira Pappin is a fifth grade Student of the Month. According to her certificate, she is the type of student who will work at a task until she gets it. She always has a smile on her face. She always gives her best effort in everything she does and is never afraid to answer questions. She is a very logical thinker in all her subjects. Her kind disposition toward her peers and joy for learning make her a model choice for student of the month.
Bailey Travis was selected as a sixth grade Student of the Month. According to her certificate, she is a hard-working student who strives to do her best at all times even when things are not easy. She works well with others and has a positive attitude toward learning and sharing with others.
T.J. Twohill is a sixth grade Student of the Month. According to his certificate, he is a hard-working student who strives to do his best at all times. He works well with others and has a positive attitude in the classroom. He can be counted on to do the right thing at the right time, which shows his integrity. He has proven to be a very reliable part of the sixth grade.
Trenady Sammons was selected as seventh grade Student of the Month. Her certificate states she is a diligent worker, who truly cares about the quality of her schoolwork as she consistently tries to meet and exceed teacher expectations. She is a member of the school?s PBIS student leadership team, and she models Trojan Pride consistently. Her teachers are proud to acknowledge her for Student of the Month.
Aaron Haines was recognized as a seventh grade Student of the Month. His certificate states he has a terrific sense of humor, and he makes the best of every situation. He is a very hard worker and always meets his deadlines. He is a very thorough worker and takes pride in his work. For these reasons and more, his teachers are happy he earned this award.
Josh Kessel was honored as an eighth grade Student of the Month. His certificate states he always does what he is supposed to do, and they count on him to exemplify Trojan Pride. He?s diligent in his work, leads by example, and in his quiet way, helps others. His consideration of others is another reason he deserves the December Student of the Month award.
Kenady Waugh was honored as an eighth grade Student of the Month. According to her certificate, she is full of enthusiasm and positive energy in her schoolwork. She is someone who is always doing what she is supposed to even when others around her are not. She is self-disciplined and self-motivated which allows her to get work done well and on time.
