In partnership with the Fairfield Elks, the Fairfield Middle School has announced its April Students of the Month.
The nominating teachers and staff had this to say about the honorees:
Savannah Garretson was chosen to receive the April Student of the Month award. Savannah is excellent at following Trojan PRIDE in and out of the classroom. She comes to class prepared and responsible. Not only does she make sure she is doing the right thing and ready for class, but she is always looking out for others and helping them as well. She likes to be involved and is always willing to help when needed. Keep up the excellent job!
I would like to nominate Mathias Tovar Rincon to receive the Student of the Month Award. I love that Mathias has a can-do attitude, he shows engagement through participation, asking questions when assignments are challenging and then asking for feedback. Mathias also shows great respect to teachers and peers. He has shown Trojan PRIDE in and out of the classroom by showing integrity and being a responsible student. Keep up the great work, Mathias!
The 6th Grade Team would like to congratulate Emma Forrest on being selected by her teachers as the student of the month for April 2022. Emma has a great attitude, she works hard to be her best at all times. Emma is a quiet leader in the classroom. She is responsible and is willing to work with anyone and will help her classmates as well as any adult that needs help. Keep up the good work and congratulations, Emma!
The 6th Grade Team is proud to present April's Student of the Month to Jude Kelly. Jude is a hard worker and always has a positive attitude. Jude is a quiet leader in the classroom and is willing to help in any classroom capacity. Jude is always prepared for class and stays proactive in completing classroom assignments and projects. Congratulations, Jude! Keep up the great work!
Jake Jeffrey is kind to everyone and has a great sense of humor that can lighten anyone’s mood. He participates enthusiastically in all activities. He has taken on the leadership role in Trojan Time of making sure all his teammates’ computers are plugged in and accounted for each day. Way to go, Jake!
Jaxon Kurka has worked hard all year. He is making smart choices in class, especially about who to work with. This ensures he is achieving his goal of getting a good grade. He chooses to avoid distractions in class. He asks questions and makes sure he understands the assignment fully. Keep up the great work, Jaxon!
Trajen Curtis has been a great addition to the 8th grade class. Trajen exhibits Trojan PRIDE on a daily basis by being ready to learn, polite to his peers and teachers, and able to work collaboratively on group projects. We are proud of the effort he puts forth to communicate and build relationships with his teachers and hope that he continues on this path as he moves forward to high school. We are proud of you, Trajen!
Briana Rios comes to school every day with a positive attitude. She is helpful to other classmates and takes pride in her work. She is respectful, kind, and consistently demonstrates Trojan PRIDE consistently. She contributes to class discussion and is also great at asking clarifying questions. Thanks for doing your best, Briana!
