FMS Students of Month honored
The Fairfield Middle School has announced its Students of the Month for October.
Each school month, the Fairfield Elks Lodge sponsors the FMS Student of the Month award to acknowledge positive contributions of students at school, ranging from assisting teachers and peers in classroom activities to displaying characteristics as a role model in and out of the classroom. The Fairfield Middle School has announced its Students of the Month for October.
Each school month, the Fairfield Elks Lodge sponsors the FMS Student of the Month award to acknowledge positive contributions of students at school, ranging from assisting teachers and peers in classroom activities to displaying characteristics as a role model in and out of the classroom. The Student of the Month is awarded after a nomination and voting process is completed by each grade-level teaching team.
Bradley Smithburg is the October fifth-grade Student of the Month. His certificate states he ?is the type of student who consistently puts forth his best effort on every task. He is an active participant in class discussion and is never afraid to try something new. He is willing to help others even if it means he has to give up some of his own work time. Brad can be seen following Trojan PRIDE whatever the circumstances. Brad?s positive attitude and willingness to be a class leader makes him an excellent choice for student of the month.?
Clare Else is a fifth-grade Student of the Month for October. Her certificate states, ?Clare demonstrates all the aspects of Trojan PRIDE. She is always prepared for class and respectful. She does what is right even when no one is looking. Clare is willing to help others, and she puts 100 percent effort into everything she does.?
Lily Hoskins is a sixth-grade Student of the Month for October. Her certificate states, ?Lily exemplifies Trojan PRIDE on a daily basis. Lily is prepared for class and shows great respect toward her classmates as well as to her teachers. Lily is a great classroom leader and takes pride in her work. She has a strong work ethic and is always willing to help others.?
Keefe Thornton is a sixth-grade Student of the Month for October. His certificate states, ?Keefe works well with others and has a positive attitude toward learning and sharing each and every day. He chooses to do the right thing and is a great example of Trojan PRIDE through his actions and words. Keefe is an extremely hard-working student who strives to do his best at all times.?
Rhylie Lisk is a seventh-grade Student of the Month for October. Her certificate states, ?Rhylie takes great pride in her work. She works hard to fully understand in her classes, not just get work done. She is very responsible, and is also polite and friendly to peers and adults. Finally, Rhylie also does a great job taking initiative, and is a conscientious worker.?
Dylan Harvey is a seventh-grade Student of the Month for October. His certificate states, ?Dylan is a responsible student who works very hard. A definite strength of Dylan?s is that he works well with people, so he has a lot of success working in groups with peers. In addition, Dylan?s positive attitude and eagerness to learn helps him be a great student as well.?
Alexis Triska is an eighth-grade Student of the Month for October. Her certificate states, ?Alexis is a hardworking student who exemplifies the Trojan RRIDE model. Always prepared, respectful to teachers and peers, honest, and dependable, Alexis has proven to her teachers that she is a serious student who will go far in life.?
Brayden Unkrich is an eighth-grade Student of the Month for October. The eighth-grade teaching team said Unkrich shows enthusiasm for learning, cooperates with others, isn?t afraid to ask for help, helps others and shows Trojan PRIDE in every area. His certificate states, ?Brayden works hard and always seems to have a positive attitude.?
