FMS Students of the Month

Fairfield Middle School has announced the names of the September 2021 Students of the Month.
Nominating teachers and staff explained why they chose these students to be Student of the Month:
Christian Rojo was nominated for Student of the Month in September. He has done a great job starting the year and is a wonderful addition to the FMS. He has been a great help as a student ambassador to new students and anytime for anyone in the classroom. He is always willing to jump in to help. On top of helping others, he follows Trojan PRIDE well and makes sure to be a good role model to others. We appreciate Christian's willingness to lead the students when needed. Way to earn this award!
Grace Hellweg has been selected as the 5th grade September Student of the Month. Grace has had a great start to her school year. She is always helpful in the classroom and works well with her peers. Grace comes in each day with a smile on her face ready to go. I can count on Grace to be responsible and show integrity. Grace is a hard worker and I have enjoyed getting to know her this year. I look forward to seeing all the other great things Grace does this year! Congratulations, Grace!
The 6th Grade team would like to congratulate Ian Richards on being selected Student of the Month for September. Ian is a leader to his peers and is always willing to help his classmates. Ian is also respectful to all adults in the building. Ian shows Trojan PRIDE daily by coming to class prepared and is dependable with whatever he is asked to do. Congratulations, Ian!
The 6th Grade Team would like to congratulate Liberty Castellow on being selected for Student of the Month for September. Liberty is always helpful to her classmates, showing kindness even when others do not. She has a heart of gold and works hard in class. She is a great listener and consistently goes above and beyond in the classroom. Congratulations, Liberty!
Mathias Thornton is an extremely hard worker. He comes to class with a great attitude, prepared and ready to learn every day. He is an excellent problem solver and works great alone as well as in groups. Mathias is very engaged and participatory. He asks great, insightful questions and is a leader in the classroom. He brings creativity and thought-provoking perspective to class work and class discussions. Mathias is very reliable. He is also a polite young gentleman and is respectful to peers and staff. Nice job, Mathias!
Addison Winters comes to class each day with a positive attitude and mindset ready to learn. She works well with others and asks clarifying questions that help both her and the rest of the class. She is such a sweet and respectful student. She has taken it upon herself to help another student and has included her in every group project and activity. Addison is always ready to learn and makes the most of her time in class. She's got a great attitude and takes her work seriously. Way to go, Addison!
The 8th Grade Team is pleased to award September's Student of the Month Award to Dharma Sumithran. Dharma is a student who is polite and always on task. Even when absent, she emails her teachers and turns work in. Her drive to achieve great grades is a great example to her peers. She is s a student leader among her peers. Congratulations, Dharma!
The 8th Grade Team is pleased to award September's Student of the Month Award to Meara Malloy. Meara is a shy, smart student. She has made an effort to be a leader and helps others when she is done. During the BINGO challenge, she has completed two Blackouts already. Her classmates are really appreciative and she is gaining confidence as a leader. Way to go, Meara! Keep up the great work!
