Former Fairfield resident Jewell to turn 93

Roberta Jewell, of Muscatine and formerly of Fairfield, will celebrate her 93rd birthday Wednesday, Aug. 28.
A card shower is planned. Cards can be sent to Jewell at Lutheran Living 2421 Lutheran Dr. in Muscatine, Iowa, 52761.
Jewell was born Aug. 28, 1927. She lived most of her entire adult life in Fairfield, where she had served as the county auditor. She moved to Muscatine to be near family after her husband, Richard Jewell, died in 2016.
