The Fairfield Public Library is hosting a book sale from Monday, Feb. 2 through Saturday, Feb. 14, offering community members an opportunity to find affordable reads while supporting local library services.
Shoppers will find a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction titles, children’s books, DVDs and CDs, puzzles, and a variety of collectible items. Materials available for purchase have been donated or withdrawn from the library’s collection and are offered at low prices, making the sale accessible to readers of all ages and interests. The library continues to receive donations of clean, gently worn books Monday through Friday during regular hours.
All proceeds from the book sale directly support special library programming and special facilities-oriented enhancements, helping the library expand educational offerings, community events, and resources for patrons throughout the year. Scheduled book sales for 2026 will take place the first two week of the month in February, May, September, and November.
This month’s book sale will take place during regular library hours and is open to the public. Community members are encouraged to stop in, browse, and support the library while discovering new books and hidden treasures.
