Franklin Cubs 4-H Club

The April 19 meeting of the Franklin Cubs 4-H club was held at 5:30 p.m. at the Washington County Extension Office with eight members in attendance. Hunter Bell served as this month?s host. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, led by Brady Knutson. The secretary?s and treasurer?s reports were given and approved.

The 2015 Spring Preview Cattle Show pancake breakfast was discussed in addition to the meeting?s upcoming field trip. The club elected to purchase one sign from the Elite Project Team to be used during the fair. This year?s Hay Bale Decorating Contest was also discussed, resulting in the club declining to participate.

The meeting was adjourned with the 4-H pledge led by Jameson Bell and a presentation by Garrett Conway on goats.
