Free program focuses on bugs in gardens
A free ?lunch and learn? program, ?Good Bugs-Bad Bugs of the Garden,? is planned from noon to 1 p.m. May 23 at the Jefferson County ISU Extension Office.

A free ?lunch and learn? program, ?Good Bugs-Bad Bugs of the Garden,? is planned from noon to 1 p.m. May 23 at the Jefferson County ISU Extension Office.
According to ISU Extention horticulture program assistant Kim Keller, Moni Hayne will present the program.
Hayne will explain which bugs are beneficial in gardens, such as the good bugs that eat or destroy the bad bugs, and she will explain which bugs should be destroyed.
Keller said participants can bring their lunch, their questions and their bug problems to the program to learn how to have a successful gardening season with the good bugs.
