BURLINGTON ? Symphonic Blast, postponed from July 7, has been rescheduled for Saturday in Burlington.
The spectacular concert of popular and light classical music will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the band shell in Crapo Park in Burlington.
Since it?s too dry to have fireworks, audience members are encouraged to bring anything that glows in the dark without a flame to help produce the first-ever unforgettable faux fireworks finale.
Admission is free of charge with an opportunity to make a free-will donation to the orchestra during the concert.
Symphonic Blast has been underwritten by the John H. Witte, Jr. Foundation, the Cullen Family Foundation, the Starker Foundation (City of Burlington) and the Burlington/West Burlington Visitors and Convention Bureau.
