Free Super Sitter class offered to fifth-graders

Jefferson County Health Center Auxiliary is offering a free baby-sitting course from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 13 in the health center's conference room.
The class is open to all fifth-grade boys and girls in Jefferson County.
Students are asked to bring a sack lunch, drinks and snacks will be provided.
Marty Chandler, health and wellness coordinator at Jefferson County Health Center, will teach the group first aid and infant/child development skills.
The Fairfield Fire Department will share fire safety tips.
Participates will be given a multiple choice test at the end of the course and receive a certificate and tote bag.
The health center offers the course once a year.
Names of students will not be shared for baby-sitting referrals.
Registration forms will be sent home from the schools. Completed forms should be dropped off at Jefferson County Health Center, sent to JCHC Auxiliary at PO Box 588, emailed to supersitter@yahoo.com or sent to coordinator Kathy Horn, 504 E. Washington Ave., Fairfield 52556.
