Freshmen girls split pair of games last week
The Fairfield freshman girls? basketball team split a pair of games last week, losing to Keokuk away before winning a home game vs. Fort Madison.
In the first game on Tuesday, the Trojans dropped a 59-26 game to the Chiefs. Madison Roberts led the Trojans with 14 points, while Karley Williams and MacKenzie McClure scored seven and four points, respectively.

The Fairfield freshman girls? basketball team split a pair of games last week, losing to Keokuk away before winning a home game vs. Fort Madison.
In the first game on Tuesday, the Trojans dropped a 59-26 game to the Chiefs. Madison Roberts led the Trojans with 14 points, while Karley Williams and MacKenzie McClure scored seven and four points, respectively.
Roberts again netted more than half the freshman team?s points in a 33-13 win over Fort Madison Friday.
Roberts scored 18 points in addition to hauling in a team-high eight rebounds. McClure had nine points, Williams scored two with six boards and Harley Cook added two points and three rebounds.
The ninth-graders are set to visit Eddyville-Blakesburg Thursday.
