Family helps Grabers celebrate 50th anniversary

Anniversary
Spending the weekend of March 18-20 to help their parents, Greg and Carol Graber with an early celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary were Tim and Lisa Graber, Morgan, Cody, Brenna and Logan of Wayland, Darin and Emily Graber, Garrett, Gabe, Riley, Selah and Blakely of Prairie City, and Chris and Gina Petersen, Reagan, Cale, Drew and Emery of Polk City. The group was back and forth from their parents to the Tim Graber's while visiting. Greg and Carol's actual wedding anniversary was April 1.
Lions Club meeting
The Crawfordsville Lions Club met for their regular meeting, Monday, March 28 at the Crawfordsville Community Room with 13 members present.
Lion President Gene Miller opened the meeting by leading the Pledge of Allegiance and offered prayer, as well.
Lion Rose read the minutes of the March 28 meeting and they were approved as read. Lion Finke gave his treasurer's report.
Old Business: A letter was passed from Camp Courageous thanking the club for their donation. The next order of business was to present the 2022-2023 slate of officers. A motion was made to accept them and it was passed unanimously. It was mentioned the Easter Egg Hunt will follow the Fireman's Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 16. Lion Jennie Greene brought to the club's attention the idea of only meeting once a month. Nothing was decided.
Following a motion to adjourn Tail Twister, Fletcher conducted an interesting game of Jeopardy.
Refreshments were served by Lion Lance Miller.
Pancake Breakfast
The Crawfordsville Fireman will be having a Pancake Breakfast at the Fire Station from 6-9 a.m., Saturday April 16. Free-will offering. Easter Egg Hunt will follow behind the WACO Elementary School at 9:30 a.m.
