Friends of Athens to host annual Holiday Tea Saturday, Nov. 21
The Friends of Athens will hold their annual Holiday Tea on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at 3 p.m., at the Heritage Haus in Kahoka, Mo. The Heritage Haus is located on the east edge of Kahoka, at 730 East Main Street.
This is a traditional holiday tea served in the gracious Victorian surroundings of theTrump Heritage Haus, with musical entertainment and door prizes included.

Non-refundable tickets for the tea are now on sale and may be purchased from a member of the Friends of Athens, or by sending a check to Barbara Munford, treasurer, 1097 Croton Road., Farmington, IA 52626. The Friends of Athens' mission is to preserve and promote the Battle of Athens Historic Site's cultural, historical and natural resources through volunteer service, educational programs and financial support.
Proceeds from the tea will be used by the Friends of Athens for the ongoing support of the Battle of Athens State Historic Site, in Revere, Mo.
