Fritz competes in pageant

Julia Fritz, daughter of Joseph and Lori Fritz of Brighton, competed in the National American Miss Iowa pageant in July.
Competing against 47 girls in her age division, 10-year-old Julia also won the acting competition and was named first runner-up in the talent competition for lyrical dance.
Talent scouts from the International Modeling and Talent Association invited Julia to audition for the 2012 IMTA Convention, to which she was accepted after three auditions. Julia will perform in front of agents, managers and industry professionals from across the world at IMTA in Los Angeles, Calif., Jan. 2-4.
