Garretson Family Heritage Farm to be featured Aug. 17

Henry County Heritage Trust Presents the Garretson Family Heritage Farm with Joel Garretson at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17.
The event will be at the Henry County Heritage Center Museum, 403 West Madison Street in Mt. Pleasant.
Joel Garretson, descendant of the original owner, resides on the Garretson Family Farm, which was established in 1837. Joel will share some history of the farm and some stories about his family members who once lived there.
The event is free, though donations are appreciated. Refreshments will be provided. For questions, call 319-385-4983.
