Garretts to celebrate 70th anniversary
Dean and Shirley Garrett will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on July 23. Dean and Shirley Garrett were married July 23, 1950, at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington, Iowa. They have three sons and one grandson. Their three sons are spread out from Marion, Iowa, to Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Vancouver, Washington. Due to the coronavirus, they plan to celebrate their anniversary once they are out of solitary confinement. Cards may be sent to Dean and Shirley at 1205 E.
