Gary D. Whaley, 80, of Effingham, IL, former longtime Mt. Pleasant, IA businessman, died Friday, January 11, 2019, at his home.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, where the family will receive friends until 2:30 p.m. At that time a funeral service will be held at the Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Richwoods Cemetery. Gifts of love and friendship may be given to the First Baptist Church of Louisville, IL, or the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant.
