Genealogical Society to meet
Margie Lasek will present the program "Col. David J. Palmer" at the Feb. 4 meeting of the Washington County Genealogical Society. Col. Palmer, an early settler in this county, was in the Union Army during the Civil War. His story of service is exciting. The public is invited to come and learn about his life. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. in the Genealogy Room at the Washington Public Library.
