Gift of Life blood drive set for Jan. 5
The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) Gift of Life blood drive has been set for Tuesday, Jan. 5, at E3 Center, in Mt. Pleasant.
Free beverage tumblers will be given to all registered donors who attend. In addition, those who attend will also be entered for a chance to win draw prizes.

The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) Gift of Life blood drive has been set for Tuesday, Jan. 5, at E3 Center, in Mt. Pleasant.
Free beverage tumblers will be given to all registered donors who attend. In addition, those who attend will also be entered for a chance to win draw prizes.
All eligible blood donors are invited to take part in the ?Gift of Life? Blood Drive, from 2 to 6 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 5, at the E3 Center, in Mt. Pleasant, located at 1302 East Washington Street. All donors will receive a Gift of Life tumbler, double points in their donor loyalty store and will be eligible to win a $25 Wal-Mart gift card.

?We count on donors to help keep the blood supply strong, especially this time of year,? said Chriss Heyd, donor relations consultant with MVRBC. ?It?s important to start the year off with a stable inventory, since donations traditionally decline over the holidays.?
MVRBC is the exclusive provider of blood and blood components to 88 hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin, including Henry County Health Center and Great River Health Systems.
