Glen D. "Buddy" Nebel 88, of rural Wayland passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Savannah Heights in Mt. Pleasant.

Mr. Nebel was born on May 8, 1930, in Wayland the son of Frank S. & Alma Elizabeth (Rapp) Nebel He graduated from Wayland High School. He owned a farm south of Wayland and spent his life on the farm with the exception of service in the United States Army with a tour of duty in Korea. Buddy was a member of the Finley Chapel United Methodist Church.

Buddy is survived by a sister Bonnie Land of Denver Colorado, a brother Franklin (Bob) Nebel of Marion Iowa, two nieces and six nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank S. Nebel and Elizabeth A. (Rapp) Nebel, two sisters Louise M. King and Lois F. Nebel, and one brother Allen W. Nebel.

According to his wishes cremation has been accorded and burial will be held at Finley Chapel Cemetery at a later time. No public services are planned.
