The regular meeting of the Washington Go-Getters took place at 6 p.m. Oct. 12, at the Washington County Extension building, with 31 members present. The club collected the $8 dues and passed out record books.
Members discussed old business of using the "Remind 101" text system. Members need to get their online registration completed. Members also signed up to host meetings and their 4-H talks. They also discussed a philanthropy project again and left it up to discussion until the next meeting. New officers were elected: Zoe Wagner as president, Maclain Leyden as vice president, Madison Fishback as secretary, Brody Wagner as treasurer, and Liv Postl as recorder.
Zoe Wagner moved to add photographers to the officer team. McKenna Rich seconded the motion and the motion passed so the new Go-Getter photographers are Leah Evans and Libby Schnicker.
The club discussed Awards Night on Nov. 8 and Go-Getter attendance. Hosts included Liv Postl, Madison and RyLee Fishback, and Emma Stalder. The meeting adjourned at 7:01 p.m.
Delicious snacks were provided by the Fishback, Strabala and Postl-Guy families.
The next meeting will be Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. with installation of officers. The Rich, Kitchen and Evans families will host.
