The Washington County Extension Office held a Goo, Slime, and Fizz Day Camp on June 17, at the Washington County Extension Office. The day was filled with fun and excitement. Around 20 second-and third-graders attended the camp.
The campers enjoyed a day full of scientific discoveries. Participants made a lot of different science experiments including bouncy balls, lava lamps, a bursting bubble, and of course slime! Every camper had their very own science notebook where they could record their findings and figure out why their experiment reacted the way that it did! By the end of the day each camper had a bag full of experiments they could take home and teach their family about what they learned during camp that day.
There is still room available in other Washington County Extension's Clover University summer day camps. See the complete list and registration details at https://www.extension.iastate.edu/washington.
