Grandparents to participate in Kansas City event
Dean and Connie Duwa of Ainsworth will be participating in the Kansas City Take Steps for Crohn's and Colitis, to support their granddaughter Juliana Quickel and her family.

Dean and Connie Duwa of Ainsworth will be participating in the Kansas City Take Steps for Crohn's and Colitis, to support their granddaughter Juliana Quickel and her family.
Last year, Juliana's Journey team was the top fundraising team for the walk. This year, Juliana has been chosen the 2014 Honored Hero. She is the daughter of Julie and Jay Quickel. She has been fighting Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis since she was born.
Take Steps is a national walk and it is the nation's largest event dedicated to finding cures for digestive diseases.
The Duwas will accept donations, which may be mailed to them at 1895 Underwood Ave., Ainsworth, IA 52201.
