Green Acres 4-H Club
The new 4-H Club of Washington County met for the first time at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at the Washington County 4-H/Extension Building. Eight members were present. Leader Tanya Stalder led the meeting.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Natalie McCleary. Roll call was saying your name, how long you have been in 4-H and telling one unique fact about yourself.

The new 4-H Club of Washington County met for the first time at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at the Washington County 4-H/Extension Building. Eight members were present. Leader Tanya Stalder led the meeting.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Natalie McCleary. Roll call was saying your name, how long you have been in 4-H and telling one unique fact about yourself.
Green Acres was voted on as the new club name.
Sophie Bell made a motion for the members to pay $10 in dues ($8 going to Extension office and $2 going into the club treasury). Ellie Todd seconded it.
The following officers were elected: president?Baylee Stalder, vice president?Ellie Todd, secretary?Sophie Bell, treasurer?Ellie Bell, historian/photographer?Bailey Rees, recreation team?Ava Wulf, Natalie McCleary, and Ally Rees.
The club made a list of possible activities/projects that they would like to do this year. Sophie Bell made a motion to have a Bake Sale/information booth at Fareway on Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. during National 4-H Week. Ellie Bell seconded it. A list of work times was passed for the members to sign up for times. Green Acres 4-H Club leader Tanya Stalder went over the 4-H newsletter highlighting important info/events.
The next meeting will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 5 p.m. at the Washington County 4-H/Extension Building. A potluck supper, installation of officers and hayride will be held at that time for members and their families.
Ellie Todd led the 4-H Pledge. Sophie Bell moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Ellie Bell. Meeting was adjourned.
