?Green Eggs and Ham? at Kidsymphony

Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra?s 2011 Kidsymphony Concert for Families will present Dr. Seuss?s immortal classic for children ?Green Eggs and Ham? Saturday at several locations.

Rob Kapilow?s musical version of ?Green Eggs and Ham? features guest artists Lara Troyer and Sam Swartzendruber. Troyer is Sam I Am.

The concert will be presented at 11 a.m. at the St. John Auditorium on the Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa.

It will be at 2 p.m. at the Iowa Wesleyan College Chapel Auditorium in Mount Pleasant.

The final concert will be at 4:30 p.m. at the James Madison Middle School Auditorium in Burlington.

Tickets will be sold at the door of each venue. Adult tickets are $3.  Child tickets are $2.

The concert, designed especially for children, will last about 50 minutes. The fun, entertaining and eductional concert will introduce young people to the magic and majesty of the symphony orchestra.
