Guest clinician to lead 4-H sheep clinic June 22

Area 4-H'ers and FFA members involved in the sheep project are invited to the Washington County 4-H Sheep Clinic on June 22, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The 4-H sheep department continues to expand and offer educational opportunities to improve and further develop the sheep projects for youth in Washington County.
This all-day clinic will focus on 'fitting for the show” which includes a start to finish look at washing, shearing, grooming and also showmanship. Kolby Burch of Burch Livestock from Seward, Neb. will lead the workshop with his experience as a club lamb producer and former vocational agriculture instructor. This clinic will be appropriate for beginners and experienced showman.
Parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend as well.
