H.J. Club met in April

The April meeting of the H.J. Club was at the Coffee House in Riverside on April 25. Hostesses were Marjorie Hora and Doris Yeggy.

Six members were present as well as guests Sue Hora, Barb Strum Brown, Ann Yeggy and Joan Sojka. Roll call was 'My Favorite Season and Why.” Spring was unanimous except for one winter choice. Marjorie spoke on opposition of the abortion problem. A quiz on Iowa history, sites, etc., presented challenges along with some levity. Joan Sojka entertained the group with some hilarious jokes contributed by a friend. Barb Brown accepted an invitation to become a member of the H.J. Club.

Dessert and coffee were served. The date of the June meeting will be announced later.
