Sybil Thornton was witnessed hugging her son Mike and youngest grandson Will. They were overnight guests on the way back to Drake for Will?s second semester of his junior year. Will spent last semester in Germany and traveled to 10 European countries. Of course, Grandma Sybil and her boys dined at Dodici's where hugs were exchanged by Lorraine and a fascinating conversation ensued. Will and Mike spent the next morning ?attempting? to teach an old lady (grandma) all the bells and whistles installed on her Samsung Galaxy. What a feat!

They attended their church's 31st annual Magic Christmas Caroling Truck where some of the family took in a seven-hour tour of North Hollywood neighborhoods. Some of the other family were viewers and had a surprise picture taken by a national professional photographer who was recording the event for television and national reporters. On Betty?s bucket list was to especially welcome and meet Archer, her 20th great-grandchild who is 7 months old. The return trip was also good, and they did not get a California tan or go to the beach.
