The recent two weeks at Lending Hands were filled with holiday music, including the Tubadores, the Sunrise Singers from Lincoln Elementary, the Washington High School choir, the DeVox Music Group from the middle school, and songs sung and performed by Dorothy Koehler and her daughters Karen Seibert and Mary Jo Koehler. Stories were read to the participants by Rachel Nicola and Sherry Sieren. Several clients from WCDC joined participants for bingo. Ms. Goodwin's second-graders from Stewart Elementary visited. Santa gave out Christmas gifts to participants during the Lending Hands Christmas Party, and a white elephant gift exchange was held. This week at trivia we decorated Christmas cookies and then afterward we had hot chocolate along with the cookies we decorated. To finish off this sweet program we finished with singing Christmas carols.
Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to you all!
