Thursday was a beautiful day for a drive through the Iowa countryside. Thirteen assisted-living residents went on a trip to Wellman to buy flowers for the Arbor House courtyard. Many residents chose annuals to add to our flower pots. Others chose flowers to hang from shepherd?s hooks outside their apartment windows. We celebrated our discoveries with ice cream upon our return.
