On Monday, May 1, May Day baskets were delivered to all of the residents of Halcyon House and the participants of Lending Hands. The wonderful and festive baskets were put together by the Resident Culture Club, and hand-delivered with the help of Lucy Patton, daughter of team member Taylor Reid; Quintyn Garibay, son of team member Megan Richardson; and Jocelyn Carter, daughter of team member Becky Carter. Lots of smiles were exchanged throughout each household. Thank you so much to the Resident Culture Club, Lucy, Quintyn, and Jocelyn!
Also on Monday, our Rosewood residents were treated to the gorgeous weather, as many shared a picnic lunch in the courtyard. Residents wore sunhats and soaked up lots of warm sunshine.
The 'Joy of Music” comes in once a week on Wednesdays to Rosewood. A large group of residents always enjoy singing along, and doing all of the musical activities offered by the wonderful staff from 'Joy of Music.” Music is so important and our residents really shine during this activity!
Happy Birthday wishes go out this week to Nancy Mattocks, Mary Hammes, Frances Moore, and Grace Egli.
